Common Grief Experiences (Normalization)
Physical symptoms:

Never say:
"They're in a better place" (unless person has expressed this belief) "At least they're not suffering" (may dismiss the person's pain) "You should be over this by now" (never) "I know how you feel" (you don't, even if you've experienced loss) "Everything happens for a reason" (not helpful during acute grief)
Instead:
