Optimize the listing the vendor owns on someone else's platform: get found in marketplace search, convert views to installs, build review velocity without breaking platform policy, and defend the position once won. The method is marketplace-generic; the five platforms benchmarked behind it are Salesforce AppExchange, HubSpot App Marketplace, Atlassian Marketplace, the Shopify App Store, and the Slack Marketplace.
